hi guys,
Just wondering what the status of RDO on EL7 was, the quickstart still
only mentions 6.5 as being the supported ( tested ? ) version.

Hi,
RDO for RHEL 7 should be as (community) supported as RDO for RHEL 6.5
is. BTW Quickstart also mentions RHEL7 in 'Step 3', and RHEL 6.5 is
claimed to be 'the *minimum* recommended version'.

You should expect success w/ RDO on RHEL 7 w/ aio, and multi node
configurations. There is an open bug on neutron w/ vxlan networking
atm. GRE and ML2 networking should work.

As far as I know, the bug was fixed as of
openstack-neutron-2014.1-19.el7 (which was released on May 28). I've
moved the bug to ON_QA.
So we expect VXLAN to work correctly too.

As far as I know, the bug was fixed as of

Now people tell me updates haven't reached RDO repos since that long
time. So sorry for missunderstanding, but it seems VXLAN is still broken.
