Yes, the same change should be done for Liberty.

About the second question, the last commit from the current source
branch (stable/2.2) is older than the latest commit for the previous branch (master), so
it is ignored. We can fix that by removing the commits from the DB and manually building
the new gnocchiclient (will do now).
Please submit that as well and do the same hack for liberty.
