Initial Kilo release
The obviously badly communicated idea was to develop packaging for
Kilo in Delorean repos
in case of Packstack that's
https://github.com/openstack-packages/packstack/tree/f20-master
(ignore misnamed branch name, it will be renamed to generic rpm-master)
Benefit is that you automatically get packages for each upstream
commit so you can make adjustment more rapidly and import to Rawhide
only after Kilo-3 milestone when upstream starts to stabilize.

Hmm, most (80%) of my test environment is via DevStack and I find it a
huge time saver. Probably I just got used to it, I find it extremely
quick (after the first run) to setup/tear-down environments -- just
about 5 minutes or less. I know people running multi-node DevStack
environments for rapid testing as well. :-)

By definition, pulling every single component from its latest greatest upstream means it
cannot be stable.
In my specific case, it failed on heat - which I don't care about and is not very
useful to my work.
I've tried disabling it (by adding 'disable_service heat h-api h-api-cfn h-api-cw
h-eng' to my localrc) and then things broke even worse.

To avoid that, you can check out stable release of DevStack, which will
inturn use only stable branches of the other OpenStack projects
DevStack>$ git checkout remotes/origin/stable/juno

You can just add the components that you use, it's been rock-solid for
me that way. I use only components that I care about and absolutely
nothing else -- Nova, Glance, Neutron and Keystone.

You're correct, it won't harm anything.
Just that updates could've been done early, even before f22 was
branched, in github/openstack-packages/packstack and we'd probably
have working Packstack for Kilo already.
Proposed packaging flow for openstack packages is:
Delorean rpm-master -> cherry pick to Rawhide when next Fedora is
branched -> RDO builds (Fedora in Koji, EL in CBS[*] Cloud SIG) from
the same spec in RC phase
i.e. Delorean is to be treated as packaging upstream
