If this Libvirt bug[1] is blocking you from getting Nova Compute service
start, there's a yet-to-be reviewed patch upstream libvirt[2], I made a
scratch build w/ that fix here(*only for testing*, official build will
be made once the fix is in the upstream libvirt maintenance branches):

I tested it on my IceHouse, Fedora-20 setup and the said bug is fixed,
for me.
Once you apply the RPMs, restart libvirtd and Compute service:
$ systemctl restart libvirtd
$ systemctl restart openstack-nova-compute
Ensure Compute service cam up sanely:
$ systemctl status openstack-nova-compute
