Hi David,
thank you for your reply.
Let me present a real life situation, I've deployed rdo manager with Liberty
rpms more than a month ago.
For example, I'm still waiting for this bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1244893 to be fixed, as I need
to deploy my network with tenant vlans. I wonder if I will have this fixed
faster with delorean, If that's the case I'll stick with delorean repos.
Although my system is in production this is a critical issue for me.
Regards,
Pedro Sousa
Builds from Delorean are not reproducible, so I recommend not using
them for production needs.
Nonetheless, you may use Delorean packages for development purpose and
for hotfixes.
As for that particular issue, as soon as the fix will be merged, it
will be rebuilt as a package in Delorean (as upstream gerrit is down,
I can't check it)
Note that this ticket is filed against RHEL-OSP and not RDO, so
without a ticket, it'd have to wait next point-release rebase.
Plans are that we automate packages builds from Delorean spec files
and have both reproducible builds and more frequent updates.
Regards,
H.
