That is unfortunately blocked by solving the md5sum propagates faster
than the image problem. We previously switched to buildlogs, but had to
revert because downloads were failing due to bad md5, but really it was
just a new md5 and an old image combination.
Bummer, didn't know about that issue, is it tracked somewhere?

Quick idea: change download format to tarball which includes image + md5 ?
