[Rdo-list] Kilo swift works with icehouse services?

Hello,
We have an openstack cluster running icehouse release, on RHEL6. I
wonder, if I only upgrade swift to kilo, leaving all the other services
on icehouse release, will they work together ?

[Rdo-list] Overcloud controller UI

A few days ago I was finally able to setup a 1+1 basic deploy all virtual. Now I am trying to get into the overcloud controller dashboard. I fixed some issues with the Apache config on the overcloud controller with server name aliases causing problems, then I fixed a bug with the Django CACHES setting (passing a list for Location which crashes LocMemCache). Then I figured out that Keystone handles the authentication and where the username/pass were.
I can now log in successfully with the admin account, but the dashboard just redirects back to the login screen immediately (logs show successful login). Any tips on where to start learning how to enable the dashboard? I'm not sure where to go from here other than diving into the Horizon python code.

[Rdo-list] Liberty Packstack fails to install Cinder and Ceilometer missing python packages.

Hi,
Figured I'd try packstack-ing a Liberty on centos7.1
Packstack failed to install Cinder due to missing: python-cheetah
After manually installing Python-cheetah, Cinder installed.
Also missing python-werkzeug for Ceilometer.
yum -d 0 -e 0 -y install openstack-ceilometer-compute
Error: Package: 1:python-ceilometer-5.0.0.0-rc2.dev5.el7.centos.noarch

Again manually installing python-werkzeug fixed issue.

[Rdo-list] overcloud update [external - float interface name]

I have been deployed my overcloud via:

the baremetal server interfaces naming is as enoX X == {1,2,3,4}
I also have connected all baremetal servers eno1 directly into undercloud
eth1 as management zone
Now I wana create external network for float ip assignment via:

datacentre --provider:network_type flat

the datacentre is directlly connected to the public ip address router, but
the problem is that I don't have such and interface name in OS level...
is seem's I should have to solution:
1- rename Controller eno2 -> datacentre
2- update overcloud and don't know how but force it to know [ eno2 ]
instead of [ datacentre ]

solution 1 ( os level interface renaming ) seems to be a bit distructive...
cos centos wiki's told we should edit kernel param at grub and revert to
old interface naming also stick to udev rules and alike...
I pereferer to know how can I update my overcloud to accept eno2 instead of
datacentre?
