[Rdo-list] openstack-app-catalog-ui package/RDO process

I've been trying to contribute the openstack-app-catalog-ui package for months now. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I really could use some help. We recently got the same package into Debian, and it took less then a week from start to finish. Not trying to be mean or anything here, just trying to identify obstacles that we can take down to make the process smoother, to bring contributing to RDO in line with other distro's. With the big tent being a thing, I believe lowering that bar will become increasingly important to RDO's success. What can we do to make this better?
