Hi
Thanks all for your input so far!
So for me understanding things correct, Icehouse is running on CentOS7? So I can upgrade
the OS beforehand, without touching the OpenStack installation.
Is it possible to have a part of the compute nodes and the management services (keystone,
nova, neutron etc.) in different versions (Icehouse/Juno)?
We would start the upgrade on the compute nodes but of course not all at the same time,
are the updated ones still functional?
Cheers
Chris

Yep, I had the same experience. I ended up building an “after upgrade”
script that did all the cleanup. It’s definitely not perfect.

Well, I used the same tool, but, like I said, after the upgrade I had
to do a lot of cleanup because of mixed packages (2l6 and el7).
I'm glad to see that it's working for you.
