To be honest, I can't remember the fine details as it was quite some
time ago. Although, I don't recall any significant issues.
Perhaps it's best for you to evacuate one of your nova-compute node,
prior to running updates.
And yeah, as David said, sysvinit -> systemd changes came in during
Infernalis. Not a real big deal, although it does change how you
interact with Ceph when starting, stopping or restarting components.
It's worth familiarising yourself with the docs and changelogs before
carrying out any upgrades.
