Projects dropping py36 support in master: what to do?

Hi,
OpenStack projects are starting to drop support for python 3.6, which means
DLRN-rpmbuild-centos8 is going to fail. I've noticed this in cinder, see the
comment by Joel here:
review.rdoproject.org/r/c/openstack/cinder-distgit/+/42989
I believe this is not a problem for cinder only, so my question is (apologize
is it was discussed already): is there a general plan to drop those *-centos8
jobs in master? Or should each component take care of removing them?
In any case this is blocking cinder builds right now.

Hello folks,
We plan to perform an upgrade of Software Factory deployments with
version 3.7.
The upgrade will be in 2 steps.
On 2022-05-03 review.rdoproject.org will be updated and gerrit will be
restarted during the upgrade. We expect that the interruption of
services will be less than 3 hours.
On 2022-05-04 we will perform the upgrade on softwarefactory-project.io
(which hosts zuul and nodepool services).
We expect that the interruption of services will be less than 4 hours.
The affected services will be:
- review.rdoproject.org and softwarefactory-project.io gerrit services.
- Zuul CI not running jobs for gerrit, github or opendev.
- RDO Trunk not building new packages.
- DLRN API.
