[rdo-list] tripelo installation
by Dotan, Alon
Few questions about tripleo:
I got a requirement from my boss to create a production environment of openstack, usually I'm using packstack since he is very easy and robust installer,
The issue is that the repos of the release kept for 3 versions only which breaks packstack
My questions is:
* Can I freeze versions with tripleo or there is any downloads from the net in the deployments?
* How difficult is to upgrade versions
* Can someone redirect me to a guide that explain how to build the topology and how to add compute / publish configuration change to the environment?
Thanks,

[rdo-list] [tripleo][ci]
by Wesley Hayutin
Greetings,
We've all been making great use of [1] the known master issues etherpad.
I'd like to propose that people add their names to items they report and a
name to the person or people working the issue.
Something like:
[ reporter: joe(a)acme.org ] [ assigned: tom(a)redhat.com , tom(a)myspace.com ]
So for example:
15. Overcloud deploy fails due to Gnocchi dbsync failing [ reporter:
joe(a)acme.org ] [ assigned: tom(a)redhat.com , tom(a)myspace.com ]
- This is a different issue then 12
If you are assigned and get pulled into something else, you would remove
your name.
Thoughts?

First step is to open a package review in RHBZ under the RDO product.
Then, we'll use licensecheck to check license and some manual check.
We can relax unbundling rules to a certain extent, so it should not be
a problem.
Providing a dependency list with licenses as Jason did on irc does help.
http://paste.fedoraproject.org/392229/14688610/
GPLv3 (or later) is compatible with ASL 2.0, so it should not be a problem.
And the only GPLv2 dependency is also MIT licensed so it's ok.
What I'm worried about is the minification/compression toolchain that
may rely on non-free tools.
Removing gulp may help reducing hazard in that area.

H.
