BTW f21 is symlink to f22
Before moving it out of testing, I wanted to look at selinux issue,
permissive is required but didn't have time yet.
OTOH looks like Fedora Juno has the same issue after Packstack started
deploying keystone in httpd too, so it wouldn't be regression...
Has anyone opened BZ against Fedora selinux-policy yet?

[Rdo-list] Packaging the big tent (or at least part of it)
by Steve Gordon
Hi all,
At the community meetup, which we held in a somewhat lightning talk focused format due to time constraints, we touched on the subject of packaging the big tent [1] and said that if something was under OpenStack governance we (as a community, not we as in Red Hat) would be willing to accept it into RDO assuming somebody was willing to package/maintain it.
Now packaging isn't really my end of things so I have to admit I haven't been paying exhaustive attention to the discussion about opening up the packaging infrastructure to external contributions, but I have been approached by one or two people who would be interested in packaging projects that have recently been added to the OpenStack namespace and they either develop or maintain a key interest in. Is there a quickstart I can point such potential contributors at?
Thanks,
Steve

[Rdo-list] Neutron with existing network issues.
by NS Murthy
Hi
I am new to RDO openstack. I have installed in one single bare metal server which had 2 NICS connected with different subnets on my company network.
1) Primary NIC subnet: 10.58.100.24 - This is where i have installed openstack and openstack dashboard is listening to logon from this IP.2) Tenant NIC subnet: 10.68.200.5 - this is a secondary IP which i kept for tenant network so that i can logon.3) 1 br-ex interface ip 10.58.100.24
I have used br-ex interface address(which is my primary 1GB NIC IP) configured for tenant however i cannot ping tenant instance ip 10.68.200.25 from my management node but can ping floating IPs(10.58.100.25) and can do SSH to floating ip.
can someone provide a tip or help how to ping tenant IP as well connect to tenant IP without floating IP.
At the end i need the below.1) i need to have tenant network on 10.68.200.0/24, i need to ping this network so that tenant can logon to SSH without floating IP.2) i have requirement to have 2 Network interfaces on a instance ? how do i accomplish this ? becasue every tenant have fense network so i can only get one network when i spin instance from image ?

[Rdo-list] Error showing up in the httpd log file
by Marius Cornea
Hi all,
I've just got a Kilo installation with packstack and I can see in the
httpd logs errors like this:
ERROR:scss.expression:Function not found: twbs-font-path:1
ERROR:scss.expression:Function not found: twbs-font-path:1
Any hints what may be causing it? Horizon appears to be working ok.
Thanks,

[Rdo-list] Slight tweak to allow easier rebuilding of RDO SRPMS for Operators
by Graeme Gillies
Hi,
I attempting to rebuild an SRPM from RDO (openstack-ironic) to apply a
patch needed for my environment.
I was simply trying to do
yumdownloader --source openstack-ironic
rpm2cpio openstack-ironic-2015.1-dev684.el7.centos.src.rpm | cpio -i
# modify spec and apply patch
rpmbuild --define '%_srcrpmdir .' --define '%_sourcedir .' -bs
openstack-ironic.spec
mock openstack-ironic-2015.1-dev684.el7.centos.src.rpm
However this gives me a build failure with
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.jyD2vL: line 35: cd: ironic-%{upstream_version}: No
such file or directory
I had a feeling this was because of the workflow introduced by delorean
(something I am not immediately familiar with).
I started looking at this page
https://www.rdoproject.org/packaging/rdo-packaging.html
And followed it through I understand what delorean is, what it's trying
to achieve, and how the macros work etc.
I was able to fix my build with by adding
%{!?upstream_version: %global upstream_version 2015.1.dev684}
I'm just wondering if it is possible to tweak the rpm specs that
delorean/RDO use to add such a conditional above to all rpms, so that it
is possible for us Operators to still rebuild these SRPMS as needed
using the tools we always have used.
While I can appreciate delorean and everything it does, from a pure
operators perspective, we aren't a fan of having to use custom tools to
build packages for all different products/infrastructure under our control.
If this could be done it would be very much appreciated!
Regards,
Graeme

[Rdo-list] RDO Community Meetup, Vancouver - Audio
by Rich Bowen
While we're in the transition to our new website, I've put the
recordings from the meetup in Vancouver on my personal soundcloud account:
https://soundcloud.com/rich-bowen/sets/rdo-community-meetup-openstack
I've split it into 6 chunks, in case you only particularly care about
one topic.
First, Perry gives an intro, and an overview of several community issues.
Next, we have Jarda talking about RDO Manager
Karsten gives an update on the Cloud SIG, and CentOS project's
involvement in RDO.
I talk about the website migration/upgrade plans
Wes talks about CI
And then there's a bit of open discussion about packaging, plans for
Fedora, and then it trails off a bit at the end.
Thanks again for those that were there.
