What's the intended goal to stick to Fedora infra while not providing
packages for it? For me, it does not make sense at all and sounds like
an abuse of Fedora resources.

Till now, I've heard that some people see value in walking thru
official Fedora new package review process. Any other reasons to stick
to it?

Not that I think the new package review argument is valid since we
still can apply the process to our reviews outside of Fedora infra.
But that's at least something.
