Hi Alfredo,
Thanks for the answer.
Currently, we use Openstack packages from CentOS repository [0].
So I expect I cannot get Openstack Train packages from CentOS mirror in a short time, such as within next 2 months. Is it right?

Another question is, is it ok to use srpm/rpm directly from RDO repo, do you have any suggestion?
It seems the packages are keeping building daily [1], do we have stable build, and how about the test quality?
Thanks very much for your support.

Hi all,
This is Shuicheng from StarlingX community [0]. We are using Openstack in CentOS. And plan to upgrade CentOS 7 to CentOS 8 now.
Could you share me when openstack-train will be released or available in CentOS 8 repo?

For my understanding, how do you consume RDO in starlingX? you use packages from CentOS repositories?

I checked the build report [1], it seems most packages are available, but not sure when openstack-train for CentOS 8 will be formal released.

Yes, the RDO Trunk repo for Train is consistent on CentOS8 and we have the dependencies in the repos shown in https://trunk.rdoproject.org/centos8-train/delorean-deps.repo.

About formal release with signed packages released to official CentOS Mirrors, we depend on having CBS ready to build on CentOS8. Depending on when we can start doing builds in CBS and the need we may do official release for Train on CentOS8 or we may skip it and do Ussuri our first relese on CentOS8.

Please, let us know your thoughts on this.

Thanks.
