Hello Andreas:

To answer your quick question, yes, it is possible to install on CentOS 7
with Rocky release and 4 bare metal machines (undercloud, controller,
compute, storage).

However, we'll need a bit more information to narrow down the potential
issues. I highly recommend a fresh, fully upgraded version of CentOS 7 to
eliminate any issues that may have been resolved due to OS, then follow the
install steps on tripleo.org and upload your installation logs here so we
can dig deeper. Thanks so much!
