[rdo-dev] gRPC 1.26.0 for EL8 in CentOS builds hits #21213

Hi devs,

I was playing around with gRPC 1.26.0 and protobuf 3.11.2 in CBS for EL8.

Immediately I hit https://github.com/grpc/grpc/issues/21213 where the
quick start
helloworld example hangs when launching the server.

Possibly a newer version is advisable. I tried a manually compiled
1.27.3 with CBS's protobuf 3.11.2 and that worked.
