Greetings All,
Links to the RDO-CI team scrum[1] and recording[2] from this week's
meeting are below.
Highlights:
- ci-scripts location
ci-scripts were initially submitted to https://github.com/openstack/tripleo-quickstart/tree/master/ci-scripts
New ci-scripts should be added to https://github.com/rdo-infra/ci-config
- Image building and pipeline status updates:
ocata should be set to be passing now (phase 1)
There will be images to test RDO-CI phase 2 (latest failure logged in [3]
- Tempest changes and updates
From ocata release, was decided that downstream tempest will no longer be supported
The config tool is now in its own repository and it will support latest upstream tempest always
Previous versions:
All remain the same
Continue to use redhat/tempest
It will be updated only when necessary, with specific patches saved in the spec file
The changes include:
- git repo changes: use upstream tempest instead of redhat/tempest repository
- tempest plugins: use an script to install all tempest plugins dependencies [4]
- the tempest jobs and mailer : no longer need to use pinned tempest version, once the new config tool will support latest tempest version
- HA test updates
HA tests are moving out of oooq-extras into a repo under redhat-openstack [5]
This allows for easier management outside the core team - and is an example for others wanting to use roles this way
