[Rdo-list] RDO Packaging Guidelines

Hi all,

I wanted to point out that we have draft packaging guidelines published
at https://www.rdoproject.org/documentation/rdo-packaging-guidelines/

There will be evolving details as we migrate packaging repositories to
rpmfactory[*] but basic idea is that RDO guidelines build on Fedora
guidelines with case-by-case exceptions as needed.
Packaging for new OpenStack services is done in RDO Package Review
Bugzilla component, while clients and general Python dependencies are
still reviewed using Fedora review process. All of them are reported in
per RDO release trackers e.g.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=RDO-MITAKA-REVIEWS

If there are unclear points in RDO guidelines, please raise them on
rdo-list and/or send pull-requests to
https://github.com/redhat-openstack/website
Old packaging documentation under https://www.rdoproject.org/packaging/
is deprecated and moved to the main website
https://www.rdoproject.org/documentation/packaging/ where each page has
"Edit on Github" link in the top-right corner !
