Ok - so your previous issue of 'no hosts' seems to be resolved with latest Mitaka.

I have seen a similar loss of connection working on Newton during deploy/introspection:

fatal: [undercloud]: UNREACHABLE! => {"changed": false, "msg": "Failed to connect to the host via ssh.", "unreachable": true}

It is possibly an environment configuration issue - I am looking into it more.
