I went through all of http://openstack.redhat.com/Workarounds_2014_01
earlier this week.  Several of those issues have seen activity and
either have fix released or will soon.  Here's a quick summary of
where things stand:

  - packstack requires 2 runs to install ceilometer

    BZ: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1028690
    State: POST

    While this is marked POST, subsequent discussion in bugzilla makes
    it unclear whether or not the issue has been resolved.

  - neutron-openvswitch-agent service restart fails; reason: fails to
    pull dependency

    State: MODIFIED
    
  - nstack-nova-compute service fails with - libvirtError: internal
    error: CPU feature `avx' specified more than once

  - packstack fails with mysql-server dependency as a result of Fedora's
    switch to mariadb-server

    A fix for this has been submitted upstream, and mmagr says, "updated
    puppet-tempest will be in next fc20 build".

For a few it's not immediately clear what state things are in:

  - Fedora 20 rdo-icehouse selinux issues with rootwrap

  - mongodb fails to start on the very first run on a slow environment

And one does not yet appear to have been addressed in bugzilla:

  - new ceilometer-agent-notification service needs to be started
    alongside the other ceilometer services

    There appears to be a fixed package in rawhide, but not yet in the
    RDO openstack-icehouse repository.
