OK.

I try to re-install centos, and create a new answer-file, modify the file to openvswitch setup, and then deploy it.

Thanks.

Hi

Yes. My operating step is:

1.       Deploy the openstack in one server via “packstack –allinone”, the command can be done successfully, meanwhile an answer is created automatically.

2.       I change some options to transfer ml2/openvswitch base on the creating answer file. The answer is attached. And when re-deploy the openstack by using the answer file, the following error happened.

I'd recomend you to start from scratch with your desired options in this case. Re-deploying with answer file works fine for things like adding a new service or a new compute node but changing Neutron drivers is a more complex task and will not clean old stuff as ovn processes.

Hello sir,

I have installed a openstack trial platform in one server via the command packstack allinone, the installation method only provide OVN neutron configuration.

When I try to create a network and launch a instance VM, the networks port status is down, and launching instance failed. I try so many times, and then I think if the OVN network configuration is unavailable, and I want to modify the neutron configuration from ovn to openvswitch, but its a pity that re-deploy is always failing. The failing reason is prompted the following messages:

So, iiuc, you first deployed with ovn (using --allinone) and are trying to re-run it using a modified version of the automatically created answers file to switch to ML2/OVS?,

Error: Could not set 'present' on ensure: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=error: certificate verify failed

Its installing log is attached, could you help me to check why the error happed once again.

Thanks.
