Hi all,

I'm writing to you to let you know of a relatively-new OpenStack project: Vitrage, the official OpenStack project for Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

The Vitrage service aims at organizing, analyzing and expanding OpenStack alarms & events, yielding insights regarding the root cause of problems and deducing their existence before they are directly detected. By doing so, it promotes clarity and transparency of the cloud structure and state.

You can see more about Vitrage in the wiki (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Vitrage) and in the following links from the recent Barcelona summit, including the keynote address where we presented part of our project in the context of OPNFV-Doctor, which was really cool :-)

Currently there are three package reviews awaiting review in RDO project:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1379786
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1390608

We are also in the process of pushing changes to puppet-integration and tempest
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/392093/

There is already a puppet module for vitrage

We would most appreciate your contribution and assistance in this process of adding the Vitrage project to the RDO.

Thanks in advance
